The neighborhoods around Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland are full of military families, veterans, civilian employees and landlords who rent to them. The Right Guyz serves the whole Lackland area from our home base on the South Side, and we’re available 24 hours a day.
Plumbing for a community that’s always on the move
Lackland is where every enlisted Air Force recruit goes through basic training, and the base brings a steady flow of families moving in and out of the surrounding neighborhoods. That creates some plumbing needs you don’t see everywhere.
Move-in and move-out checks. If you’ve just been assigned to Lackland and are renting or buying off base, a quick plumbing check can save you from surprises. Our real estate plumbing inspections cover the water heater, water pressure, leaks, drains and the sewer line.
Help for landlords and property managers. Rental homes near the base see a lot of use and a lot of turnover. We work with landlords and property managers on repairs between tenants and on emergency calls in the middle of a lease. We can also explain the problem directly to tenants in English or Spanish.
Emergencies while you’re deployed or away. When a family member is deployed, a burst pipe or a failed water heater is even more stressful. We’ll explain what’s going on clearly and give you a price up front, so decisions are simple.
Homes around the base
Many neighborhoods near Lackland were built in the 1950s through the 1980s, with newer subdivisions farther west. Older homes tend to have cast iron drains, clay sewer lines and water heaters in tight closets. Newer homes are more likely to need a first water heater replacement or a water softener to fight San Antonio’s hard water.
Military discount
We’re grateful to the service members and veterans in our community. Military customers get 10% off labor, up to $100. Just mention it when you call.
