Much of Windcrest was built in the 1960s and 1970s, with single-story homes on slab foundations. After decades of San Antonio’s clay soil moving under the slab, water and drain lines can crack. A warm spot on the floor or a water meter that keeps moving with everything off are signs of a slab leak.
